Each year Amphibian and Reptile Conservation holds a free one day event for our Friends to say a big thank you for their support. This traditionally includes a guided walk on one of our reserves to talk about how we manage them for herpetofauna and many other species, plus a chance to see some reptiles in their natural habitat.

Friends get the chance to meet some of our native species and there are plenty of opportunities for photographs! It’s a great place to meet like-minded people, make new friends and meet ARC staff who are always happy to answer any questions. Read about our past Friends Days below:

“Thank you for a wonderful, informative day!”

“I particularly liked the free cotton bag – partly because I am likely to get asked about it and I can promote ARC.”

“Wonderful day out. I particularly valued the close up views of the species. I would definitely come again.”
