Introducing amphibians and reptiles


There are some 'dragons' that you are more likely to see in your garden than others. Common frogs, common toads and smooth newts may all inhabit a garden pond, but it's highly unlikely you'd see a natterjack toad, for instance. Similarly, grass snakes and slow-worms can be regular visitors but adders will rarely stray into gardens.
