Of the alien reptile species introduced to the UK, the Wall Lizard is the most successful. There are now several colonies in the South of England which are long established, thriving and growing. In fact, this species can be regarded as thoroughly naturalised. Since the original animals seem to be of several differnet sub-species it is difficult to be sure which of them this is. Suffice it to say both male and female have a green pahse in some colonies - but this female is not one of them.
