| Generally speaking, while male Green Lizards attain their green colouration within about a year, females take somewhat longer. This female is about two years old and still remains predominantly brown. However, the longitudinal white stripes which give them their latin name are well pronounced as are the black dorsal markings. These markings may still be carried as adults. | |
