This is one of the sites at which the Sand Lizard has been successfully reintroduced to Wales. The large south facing dune has plenty of Marram Grass of varying density together with plenty of open sand patches. Since they have become established the animals can be found almost anywhere on this dune face as well as the neighbouring areas.
