The Weald

About the Weald

ARC manages 515 hectares of lowland heathland, across 30 sites in the Thames Basin of Surrey and parts of the South Downs National Park in Hampshire and West Sussex. Working with various landowners, including the Ministry of Defence, the National Trust, golf courses and local councils, the sites are managed to benefit some of our rarest amphibians and reptiles.
