Staff and Trustees at Amphibian and Reptile Conservation are pleased to invite you to a special day for our Friends, which will be held at the Witley Centre in Surrey on Friday 6 September 2019.

The event is free and exclusive to ARC’s Friends (£5 per guest accompanying an ARC Friend) and offers a behind-the-scenes insight into ARC’s work and a rare opportunity to see and photograph some of our species.  The event is limited to 20 places – first come, first served.

Our Weald field team is preparing for an event at the weekend and will show us how they find amphibians and reptiles on their sites, handle them carefully under special licence and use well-managed face-to-face encounters to inform and educate the public about ARC’s work and funding needs.

So bring your cameras and capture some unique close-up photos and video.  We would love to see the results and may even be able to use them in our work.  Our aim is to develop an increasing range of film and photo resources for use online and on tablets to complement the use of live animals which will always be limited.

Time: 10.30am-1.30pm (soft drinks and biscuits will be provided but you may wish to bring a packed lunch)
