Join us on 18th October at Marwell Wildlife for the 2023 ARC Members Day - exclusive sand lizard special! 

Our ARC Members are an integral part of the ARC family, acting as ambassadors for the UK’s disappearing amphibians and reptiles, spreading the word about ARC’s important work and donating invaluable core fund which enables us to conserve these precious animals and their habitats. Each year we hold a special event which is free for ARC Members to attend as a big thank you for your support and to give you a peak behind the scenes.

This year we have teamed up with Marwell Wildlife to give you an exclusive insight into our national sand lizard captive-breeding and reintroduction programme. The day will include talks from ARC staff and Trustees, a light lunch, tour of the sand lizard captive-breeding facility and time to explore the rest of the zoo afterwards.

Over more than twenty-five years, the reintroduction programme has released over 10,000 juvenile sand lizards back to their historic range. This ARC Members Day will give you the chance to learn more about these rare and beautiful lizards and our work to conserve them.

This event is FREE for ARC Members and £10 for non-Members. More event details will be emailed to you shortly before the event.
