Saturday 14th September Creature Crafts - 10-12.30pm A fun session for families to discover more about the wildlife on our coast. We’ll start with a short walk through the dunes discovering what the wildlife is up to as autumn approaches, and gather some inspiration for our creative crafts based on our sand dune creatures. Meet at the Ainsdale Discovery Centre, PR8 2QB. Poetry in the Dunes - 6pm Enjoy an evening walk through the inspiring landscape of the Sefton coastal dunes, in the company of local writer and poet, Hazel. We’ll be exploring one of our partners sites - National Trust Formby, Lifeboat Road, on this walk. It is a great opportunity to connect with this special place and your own creativity, through walking, talking and writing. Bring a notepad and pen and have a go! Meet in the National Trust Formby, Lifeboat Road car park. Wednesday 25th September Evening sunset walk - 6.30-8pm Join us on a guided walk around Ainsdale LNR as we look at how the colours of the dunes are changing as we move into autumn.
