Amphibians

The UK is home to seven native species for amphibian, follow the links to find out more. There are also several non-native species that are occasionally found in the wild.

Natterjack toad Epidalea calamita (formerly Bufo calamita)
Great crested newt Triturus cristatus
Palmate newt Lissotriton helveticus (formerly Triturus helveticus)
Smooth newt Lissotriton vulgaris (formerly Triturus vulgaris)

Reptiles
