The post is a permanent part time position working two days per week. You will be required to assist the Administration & Finance Manager with invoicing, bill payment, grant claims and production of monthly management accounts as well as general office duties. An interest in working with figures and a good eye for detail would be an advantage. The Trust use the Sage accounting system and any experience with Sage would also be beneficial. There may be the opportunity for this role to increase over time. The salary for this post is the range £17,500 – £20,000 p.a. pro rata depending on experience. To process incoming invoices for input onto accounting system and payment of bills via both electronic payment and cheque and send out remittances. To process and code expenses claims at the end of the month and pay electronically To assist the Administration & Finance Manager with preparation and submission of grant claims To work with the Administration & Finance Manager on preparing monthly management accounts from the Sage accounting system To help with our busy email ‘enquiries’, this can cover a wide range of topics and will involve forwarding on to the most relevant staff for some responses.
