ARC's Great Crested Newt Detectives Project Officer Pete Minting is providing a number of events for volunteers in Scotland this spring. For more details of individual events, please email [email protected]. All events are free, apart from the all-day course at Edinburgh Zoo, for which there is a small charge (£40).

  • Wednesday 29th March 2017 (afternoon) Zoology Building, University of Aberdeen.
  • Tuesday 4th April 2017 (evening) Campbeltown Town Hall, Campbeltown, Argyll.
  • Tuesday 18 April 2017 (evening) Carnoustie Golf Course, Carnoustie, Angus.
  • Wednesday 19 April (evening) Douglas Community Centre, Dundee.

Pete will also be providing a report on the first year (2016) of the Great Crested Newt Detectives Project at The Wildlife Information Centre (TWIC) conference in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, on Saturday 29th April 2017. The Great Crested Newt Detectives Project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Scottish Natural Heritage and Amphibian and Reptile Conservation.
