We are delighted to announce that ARC has again partnered with the Field Studies Council (FSC) to offer training courses on understanding, identifying, monitoring and conserving amphibians and reptiles. We are pleased to offer the first in a series of courses under the FSC EcoSkills programme – “Discovering Amphibians and Reptiles” – an online course introducing the two groups and the fascinating array of species they contain.

This two week online course includes materials, expert tuition and a flexible learning style. It covers two topics, “Introduction to Amphibians” and “Introduction to Reptiles”. Students will complete a variety of online resources and activities. Each topic is then concluded with an interactive Zoom workshop to complement the content. Find out more and book your place by Monday 7^th June via the FSC website.

We also hope to run our popular, centre-based weekend “Reptiles and Amphibians” intermediate level course in July. As well as classroom sessions this course will include visits to local amphibian and reptile sites over the weekend to practice identification and surveying, and to discuss habitat requirements. Find out more and book via the FSC website.
